Meeting of PRIMAR Working Groups for strategic and financial issues

Regular annual meeting of Strategic and Financial Working Groups of PRIMAR Regional ENC Coordinating Centre was held in Stavanger (Norway) from 10 to 11 May.

Key topics of the meeting included implementation of the new standard S-100 Universal Hydrographic Data Model, which will be the basis for development of the IMO e-navigation concept, and role of PRIMAR in the development of new services and upgrade of existing ones.

The PRIMAR 2030 Strategic Plan proposal as well as Financial statement for the first quarter of 2023 were presented. Guidelines for the 2024 budget planning were adopted. Member states were acquainted with the status of current projects related to new S-100 standard (Conversion Task project, S-101 Adaptations, Training Portal Update, etc.), as well as new project proposal S-100 Simulator.
