Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia awarded by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure for contribution to advancement of maritime science and education

Croatian Maritime and Inland Navigation Days, organized by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, were held in Novalja, on the island of Pag, on 6 December 2021, in celebration of the feast of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of seafarers.

Celebration also included the Conference on Maritime Affairs and Inland Navigation and the ceremonial academy, at which awards were presented to individuals and organizations for their contribution to the development of maritime affairs and inland navigation in Croatia.

Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia was awarded for its contribution to the advancement of maritime science and education.

The award was presented to Vinka Kolić, Director of the Hydrographic Institute, by the State secretary Josip Bilaver on behalf of the Minister Oleg Butković.
