HHI colleagues at the 21st Meeting of PRIMAR Technical Expert Working Group (TEWG)

The 21st regular meeting of the PRIMAR Technical Expert Working Group (TEWG) was held in Stavanger, Norway on 25 and 26 November 2025. Colleagues from the Hydrographic Institute (HHI), Mendi Čala and Katarina Klepo, in their capacity as the representative of the Republic of Croatia, a long-standing full member of PRIMAR, participated at the meeting.

During the two-day meeting, discussions focused on the key topics related to the implementation of S-100 standard, the development of S-101 ENC products, data protection and digital signature systems, and distribution models. The latest updates from PRIMAR were also presented, including PAC and PSWG groups reports, sales overviews, and the activities of PRIMAR Marketing Group. Participants also shared their respective current status of national S-101 dataset production, implementation challenges, and future plans for other S-100 products.

Reports from the IHO working groups were also shared in addition to the presentations by software developers showcasing the latest technological solutions on S-100 products.

Republic of Croatia, as a long-standing full member of PRIMAR, actively utilizes available PRIMAR tools and services to ensure the high quality of ENC charts and their availability to end users, while keeping the pace with the contemporary technologies and standards on S-100 products.
