The Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia (HHI) has installed a directional waverider buoy in Brački Kanal, in position 43° 29.108'N, 16° 27.799'E (WGS 84 coordinate system), with a light signal (group of five yellow flashes every 20 seconds) visible 4 NM.

The HHI has launched its application “Viewer of Official Hydrographic Surveys”, which provides spatial data view services of all official hydrographic surveys in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea.
