Safety of Navigation and Cartography Office

The Safety of Navigation and Cartography Office carries out professional tasks relating to hydrographic-navigational safety of vessels, being in charge of the navigational warning service (radio navigational warnings), collection, analysis, and exchange of hydrographic and navigational information for the purpose of construction, production and updating of official navigational charts and publications, as well as release of these updates in Notices to Mariners. It performs tasks of National Coordinator for the reception, analysis, processing and distribution of Maritime Safety Information (MSI). In addition, it is responsible for the describing and plotting of a surveyed limit of maritime sovereignty of the Republic of Croatia, taking into account other regulations governing national border. 

The Safety of Navigation and Cartography Office consists of two departments: Nautical Department and Cartographic Department.
