Scanning of valuable historical maps from the State Archives in Zadar

Under Agreement on business and technical cooperation between the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia and the State Archives in Zadar, for the purpose of the State Archives data digitization, scanning of large-format archival maps was performed from 25 to 28 April 2022, using high-resolution KartoScan FB V scanner. A total of 58 valuable historical maps were scanned.

This was the start of cooperation between the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia and the State Archives in Zadar and the University of Zadar for exchanging services and scientific and technical activities, to be continued in the common interest.
