Održan sastanak s predstavnicima Hidrografskog ureda Ujedinjene Kraljevine - UKHO - a

U Splitu u Hrvatskom hidrografskom institutu (HHI) od 06. do 07. ožujka 2019. god. održan je sastanak s predstavnicima Hidrografskog ureda Ujedinjene Kraljevine (UKHO).

Sastanak je ispred HHI-a vodila Vinka Kolić, ravnateljica Instituta, a ispred UKHO Karen Bennett, voditeljica Odjela za intelektualno vlasništvo (UKHO IPS). UKHO je jedan od vodećih svjetskih hidrografskih ureda te radeći s drugim nacionalnim hidrografskim uredima, postavljaju i podižu globalne standarde hidrografije, kartografije i plovidbe. 

Razmatrane su teme od obostranog interesa vezano za realizaciju i unapređenje suradnje uspostavljene potpisivanjem međusobnog Ugovora 2005. godine, od analize i ocjene dosadašnje ugovorene suradnje dvaju ureda do aktualnih pitanja zaštite i načina ugovaranja licenčnog korištenja HHI-podataka.

Usvojeno je nekoliko važnih zaključaka koji bi se trebali zajedničkim aktivnostima realizirati u narednom razdoblju do sljedećeg sastanka. Sastanak je protekao u radnoj i ugodnoj atmosferi te se još jednom potvrdila uspješna dugogodišnja suradnja s jednim od vodećih hidrografskih ureda u svijetu.
