HHI held a meeting with representatives of Garmin Ltd. and its subsidiary Navionics

On 12 August 2020, HHI held a meeting on its premises with Garmin Ltd. and its subsidiary Navionics. Croatia was represented by the HHI Director Vinka Kolić together with her assistants and associates, while Garmin Ltd. was represented by Chief Adviser and Board Vice-President Andrew Etkind, chief person in charge of licensing, and the representative of Garmin’s branch Navionics Paolo Cignoni, and Director of Garmin Hrvatska Neven Čolić. Important topics discussed during the meeting covered the use of nautical data in derived products of Garmin and its subsidiaries, the signing of a licensing agreement for the purpose of using the HHI data through the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO), and the terms of future cooperation.

The meeting was concluded by adopting the Joint Action Plan and the terms of future cooperation between Garmin Ltd. with its subsidiaries and the HHI.
