Posjet učenika Srednje geodetske škole Split HHI-ju

Dana 17.04.2019. godine Hrvatski hidrografski institut (HHI) ugostio je grupu od 10 učenika trećeg razreda Srednje geodetske škole u Splitu, u pratnji profesorice Ivane Denić. Ovim posjetom nastavljena je tradicija godišnjeg posjećivanja učenika Srednje geodetske škole Split Hidrografskom institutu koja se njeguje već nekoliko godina.

Kao dio terenske nastave na temu izrade tematskih karata, učenici su s pozornošću pratili predavanje o procesu izrade pomorskih karata (papirnatih i elektroničkih) i prezentaciju ispisa karte na ploteru, te traženju pogrešaka na otisnutoj karti.

Kroz kratko predavanje o povijesnom razvoju hidrografske službe od prvih hidrografskih mjerenja do današnjih dana, te starim tehnikama pri izradi karata, učenici su upoznati sa djelatnošću Instituta s posebnim naglaskom na važnosti kartografskog rada u svrhu sigurne plovidbe na Jadranu.
