New edition of List of Lights and Fog Signals – Adriatic Sea – Ionian Sea – Maltese Islands

Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia published a new edition of List of Lights and Fog Signals – Adriatic Sea – Ionian Sea – Maltese Islands.

List of Lights and Fog Signals is a nautical publication to assist mariners in the planning of navigation and during navigation.

List of Lights and Fog Signals provides information on lighthouses, coastal and port lights, light beacons, and fog signals for the Adriatic Sea, Ionian Sea, and Maltese Islands. Details include the number of light, name, location, characteristics, elevation, range, and description of structure.

List of Lights and Fog Signals 2014, as essential navigational aid, must be used in conjunction with charts and other nautical publications issued by the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia.

New edition of List of Lights and Fog Signals 2014 includes all changes to lights, lighthouses, light beacons and fog signals, published and updated in Notices to Mariners.

This edition is introducing English abbreviations for the light characteristic, according to recommendations of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO).
