IPA - Press Release IPA - Round Table (Kotor 02.06.2011)

First Roundtable Meeting of the NauTour Project, organised by Montenegrin partners, the National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro and the Hydrometeorological Institute of Montenegro, was held in Kotor, Montenegro on 2 June 2011. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia, the Hydrometeorological Institute of Montenegro, the National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro, representatives of harbour master’s offices, of the Maritime Safety Department, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro, Environment Protection Agency, Marina Porto Montenegro, Maritime Domain, the local tourism organisation of Kotor, Monte Marine Yachting, Port Authority of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, and the representative of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the IPA Cross-Border Programme Croatia – Montenegro.

The following topics were discussed: problems concerning the crossing of maritime border between Montenegro and Croatia, the information necessary and useful to leisure mariners, the content of nautical guides and cross-border routes planned by the project, and other issues.
