The regular annual meetings of the PRIMAR Financial and Strategic Working Groups were held in Stavanger, Norway, from 26 to 27 May 2026, bringing together representatives of member states and partner hydrographic offices. Croatia was represented by Vinka Kolić Bubić, Director of the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia, and her associate, Andrea Zloić Bojkić.

The meetings addressed PRIMAR’s strategic development and financial operations, future service and distribution models, as well as preparations for the transition to a new generation of hydrographic and navigational products based on the IHO S-100 standard. Particular attention was given to development activities related to the enhancement of PRIMAR tools, data validation, portal modernisation, and the preparation of the operational environment for the future distribution of S-100 products.

As a long-standing full member of PRIMAR, the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia, through its active participation in these meetings and the use of PRIMAR tools, continues to ensure the high quality and safety of the official electronic navigational charts of the Republic of Croatia, while successfully preparing for the forthcoming implementation of the S-100 standard.
