Iznimno visoke razine mora

U nedjelju 22. prosinca 2019. godine na mareografskoj postaji u Splitu zabilježene su iznimno visoke razine mora. Mareografska postaja Split je u 14:58 izmjerila razinu mora od 1.460 m iznad mareografske nule, odnosno 85.6 cm iznad srednje razine mora. To je treća najveća izmjerena razina mora od početka kontinuiranih mjerenja 1955 g.

Mareografska postaja Ploče je u 16:08 izmjerila razinu mora od 2.141 m iznad mareografske nule, odnosno 90.0 cm iznad srednje razine mora. To je najveća razina mora izmjerena od 2002. godine od kada je ova postaja započela s kontinuiranim mjerenjima.

Podizanje morske razine i visoki valovi zabilježeni u splitskom (Hmax= 2.62m Hs=1.36m Ts=7.14s Dirp=250.1°, stanje mora 4) i dubrovačkom akvatoriju (Hmax= 7.12m Hs=3.30m Ts=8s Dirp=156.1°, stanje mora 5) te poplavljivanje obale povezano je s prolaskom duboke ciklone preko Jadrana karakterizirane s niskim tlakom zraka i olujnim južnim vjetrom. Na meteorološkoj postaji na krovu zgrade Instituta izmjerene su vrijednosti tlaka zraka od 986.57 hPa i udarima južnog vjetra od 21.5 m/s.

Jutros 23. prosinca 2019. godine u 07:14h na mareografskoj postaji u Zadru izmjerena je vrijednost visine razine mora od 1.60 m iznad mareografske nule, odnosno 86.3 cm iznad srednje razine mora. Ovo je druga najveća izmjerena razina mora od početka mjerenja ove mareografske postaje 1991 g.
