S-100 Overview Course for Management Level in the PRIMAR Training portal

High-Level S-100 Overview Course for Management Level is available for free in the PRIMAR Training Portal, targeted at management positions in hydrography, maritime domain, and related sectors.

The course provides an insight into strategic aspects of the IHO standard S-100 focusing on its importance for modernization of marine navigation and development of e-navigation. The objective is to gain understanding of S-100 role in ensuring interoperability of maritime data, implementation challenges and opportunities, cross-agency cooperation, and role of management in S-100 implementation.   

High-Level S-100 Overview Course was developed as part of PRIMAR educational activities related to S-100 implementation, being a valuable resource for everybody involved in the process of planning, management and strategic decision-making concerning S-100 products and services.

The course is available for free in the PRIMAR Training Portal.
