HHI representatives attend HYDRO 2024 Conference

On behalf of the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies (IFHS), the German Hydrographic Society (DHyG) hosted the international hydrographic conference and exhibition HYDRO 2024, which took place in Rostock from 5 to 7 November 2024. A packed conference programme presented a wide range of current technologies and developments in hydrography, including new trends in positioning, marine habitat mapping, autonomous platforms, optical hydrography, and acoustic measurement systems.

Representatives of the HHI, Ljerka Vrdoljak and Duje Jelovina, participated in the conference, where they exchanged knowledge and experience with industry representatives as well as other national hydrographic offices. During the exhibition programme, they had the opportunity to explore new technologies and attend live demonstrations of the latest trends in hydrography.
