Hydrographic Institute hosts representatives of MMPI and Harbour Master’s Offices

Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia (HHI) hosted on 22 November 2024 a working meeting organised jointly with the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure (MMPI). The meeting was attended by representatives of the MMPI, harbour master’s offices and the HHI. The meeting topic was the advancement of hydrographic survey, as an important segment of maritime safety. 
Functionalities of the HHI Geoportal (portal of marine spatial data and other tools for operational use by harbour master’s offices to improve maritime safety) were presented at the meeting.
Harbour Master’s Office Zadar presented available tools and information systems used in their work.  
The HHI also presented final draft of the new edition of publication “Peljar I – Jadransko more – istočna obala, 2025”.
Through a constructive dialogue between the participants, examples of good practices were presented, and information on the situation on the ground was exchanged.
