Visit from students of Faculty of Science Split

On 16 December 2024, the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia welcomed students of the Faculty of Science Split, study programme Physics (specialisation in Environmental Physics), accompanied by professors Jadranka Šepić, Iva Vrdoljak, and Marijana Balić. The visit was organized as part of the Meteorology course.

During the visit, the students were introduced to Institute’s current activities and scope of work, with an emphasis on environmental physics. They also took a tour of the Museum of Hydrography and the tide gauge station in Split.

This visit is a continuation of traditional visits from students of the University of Split to the Hydrographic Institute.
