Agreement on expert and technical cooperation signed between the Hydrographic Institute and Air, Maritime, and Railway Traffic Accidents Investigation Agency

On 22 October 2025, The Hydrographic Institute and Air, Maritime, and Railway Traffic Accidents Investigation Agency concluded the Agreement on expert and technical cooperation at the Agency’s premises.

The Agreement was signed by Alana Vukić, LL.M., Director of the Air, Maritime, and Railway Traffic Accidents Investigation Agency and Vinka Kolić Bubić, Master of marit. mngm., Director of the Hydrographic Institute.

This Agreement is the confirmation of the ongoing successful partnership. It further strengthens the cooperation between our two institutions regarding joint developmental and research projects and other projects, both domestic and international, related to the maritime safety, as well as regarding joint public appearances and activities targeting the promotion of expert and scientific knowledge.

The goal of this cooperation is to reinforce interinstitutional cooperation, knowledge and expertise exchange, improve maritime safety, and give joint contribution to the development of expert and scientific projects of public interest. The Agreement marks the foundational stage for further joint activities which will contribute to a more efficient research, data exchange, and implementation of preventive measures in maritime and navigational safety.
